Testing the new Colgate Vedshakti

Hi guys!!

Today’s post is a review on the newly launched Colgate Vedshakti Toothpaste. I was sent over a PR package from the brand and hence got a chance to try it out. The hamper came with a really interesting booklet which had the toothpaste at the end. Each side of the booklet had a detailed description about each ingredient in the product, which helped me understand the product a lot more!

Palam Silk’s Swatantra

Hi Guys!!!

Recently, I got a chance to attend the Swantra show by Palam Silks. For the longest time, women haven’t had the choice to do as they please. But that isn’t how it is any more. Today, it is the woman who decides what a woman can do, and what she cannot. As it turns out, there is very little she cannot do. She can choose to be a homemaker, or a CEO, or both. She can choose to ride solo to the Himalayas, or stay single. She can choose to step over lines other people from other ages drew for her. She can decide to ignore outdated prejudices and she can shape her own future.

Jewellery Loving ft Nakshatra By Sha

Hi guys!!

Festive season is just around the corner and as important as it is to find a good outfit, it is equally important to use the perfect accessories to style it right. I have collaborated with Nakshatra, which is a brand run by Sharada Murthy. She has some gorgeous pieces that I just couldn’t resist and have style them in different ways to show how versatile these accessories can be.

Look 1

Kundans are my favourite when it comes to Indian jewellery and they’re the easiest to style! I styled this gorgeous yellow maxi with a Kundan earring and maamgtikka. I usually don’t wear maamgtikkas, but this was just too gorgeous to resist. Completed my look with a pair of matching earrings and I was sorted! Since my look was accessorised heavily on the face, I didn’t wear any other accessory.

Look 2

With this look, I decided to go the hippie way. Oxidised jewellery is a great way to accessorise Kurtis and even heavier Indian clothes, but have you ever tried accessorising it with any of your westerns? I paired up a peplum top with a black palazzo to create a indowestern look, and accessorised with a pair of gorgeous oxidised earrings, along with a ring. To add to the hippieness I decided to wear round sunnies and completed the look with a Kutch work clutch.

Look 3

This look is where I went really different. It’s an onam inspired look where I wore a black full sleeves top with black palazzos, and wrapped around a set-mund as a half saree. Gold and silver is always considered to be clashing, but look how perfectly it blends here. The feel of the look and the feel of the oxidised neck pieces go perfectly well and I just loved the way this look turned out. To complete the look, I added a nose pin and a round bindi.

Look 4

Afghanis are so in trend and I love how easily they can be styled with not just Indian but also western outfits. For this look I paired up a cute skirt and top and added a pair of these gorgeous, statement making afghanis. I’m in love with this earring, they’re just so gorgeous! You can style them with Kurtis, anarkalis, lehangas, basically anything!

I really hope you guys liked this post. Do lemme know which was your favourite! Mwah!!
