Indian Rhapsody

Hello You All!!

I’ve been trying to be regular with fashion posts, but I don’t know why I just keep slacking from time to time. Overtime something or the other just comes up and I land sidelining this. I feel bad but at the same time I trying making up with tons of Social media posts. But I have decided to get back to my old routine where I upload a new look for you guys every week.

Today’s post is all about taking an Indian look to the next level (well atleast for me :p ) For me, Indian outfits used to be restricted to churidars & Anarkalis. Then came the Palazzo Kurti Trend and I started to widen my mind about Indian clothing a little more. With time, I started adding an Indian touch and started wearing a lot of Indo-western looks. Trends came up where Sarees were now being worn with pants, Kurtas with denims and dhotis with kurtas. The piece that I’m wearing in this post, is a combination of a dhoti & kurti, which I think looks genius. I love the fabric, I think it makes the design look so good! The whole cut & design of the outfit has my heart to it. This is something that can really be dressed up or down, & there are a zillion looks you could do with it. Today, I decided to go a little towards the boho side without losing it’s elegance. So I accessorised it with a pair of heavy oxidised earrings, an oxidised clutch & a matching ring. To complete the look I added a pair of leather jootis. I love how this look turned out guys & I hope you guys did too. Do let me know what you think!
